1. How can I place an order?
Orders can be placed online via our easy to use website, by clicking on the ‘Add to Cart' button next to the product you want to purchase; the next step is to pay for your item by clicking on the checkout button and entering your personal information and credit card details into our safe and secure server.

2. What is The Fan & Light Store delivery policy?

We offer FREE DELIVERY on all orders. This is for delivery to a mainland UK address. For all other destinations please email for a quotation. UK Mainland excludes the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the following postcodes: AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-99, G83, HS0-9, IV1-63, KA27-28, KW1-99, PA20-99, PH15-99, ZE0-99.

3. How long do you take to deliver?
Once we receive your order, our standard delivery service is 2 working days. Saturday deliveries are also available at an additional cost of £18.00. If you provide a mobile phone number when you checkout then you will receive a text message on the day of delivery, with a one-hour time slot. If you have not received your order after 3 working days then please contact us at and we will investigate for you.

4. What happens if no one is at home to accept delivery?
If no one is available to take delivery from our couriers, a calling card will be left. If you do not contact the courier, one further delivery attempt will be made. If the courier is still unable to deliver after this point the goods will be returned to The Fan & Light Store. Please note you are required to examine your goods at point of delivery and sign 'received in good condition', if signed for in good condition we will subsequently not refund or pay for collection of damaged goods.

5. What if my package is damaged in transit?
If the package is damaged please sign delivery paperwork 'accepted package damaged' or if you so wish refuse the delivery. If you require re-delivery, The Fan & Light Store reserves the right to charge these additional shipping costs. Should you wish to cancel the order at this point, we reserve the right to deduct from any refund the cost of the initial delivery charge plus extraneous costs incurred as a result of the goods being returned to The Fan & Light Store.

6. What is The Fan & Light Store returns policy?
We offer a 7 day no questions asked money back guarantee. You must inform us in writing (letter, email or fax) within 7 days of delivery of any goods to be returned, any shortages, or if you wish to return any damaged goods. Unwanted items must not have been electrically installed, unpackaged or tampered with and must be returned at the customers expense. The Fan & Light Store can arrange collection of unwanted goods, and pass these related costs on to the customer. The date of delivery will be as recorded by our couriers. Once we have your request for a return our customer services will give you an authorisation number. Goods returned without a returns authorisation number will not be accepted. All goods must be returned in their original packaging, complete with all other associated components sent with them such light bulbs. Goods should not have been installed, modified or used in any way and should be in an undamaged condition. Your refund will be made within 7 days of return of the goods. For more information email

7. What if my goods are damaged or faulty?
Damaged or faulty goods will be replaced or refunded. Damaged or broken glass does not constitute faulty goods. You must notify The Fan & Light Store within 7 days of receipt (see returns policy). The Fan & Light Store take no responsibility for any consequential loss or cost incurred due to faulty goods or shortages such as electrician fees, time taken from place of employment etc. All fans are covered by Fantasia Fans' 10 year motor warranty (15 years for Elite range fans - see item description for full warranty details).

8. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards. You can also pay via PayPal.

9. Do your prices include VAT?
All prices shown on this site are inclusive of V.A.T at 20%
