  1. whisper quiet Product Rating

Excellent fan for a bedroom - I wanted something that was quiet and this certainly is. Very happy with the remote control though did need to consult the instructions to work out how to dim the light [just hold the light button for a second or 2.]

I was curious to measure how much above ambient was the noise generated by the fan at it's 3 speeds. I used the SPLnFFT Noise Meter which I downloaded to my iPhone [V6.91] - this isn't a fully calibrated meter but I've read some good reviews and some users have compared it to the readings taken with a dedicated noise meter and the figures I captured should be within +- 2DBA. Here are the readings

OFF [Ambient] ~ 27 DB(A) App says this is "Almost Silent"
L ~ 27 DB(A) App says this is "Almost Silent"
M ~ 29 DB(A) App says this is "Almost Silent"
    H ~ 49 DB(A) App says this is "Quiet"

Overall very happy with this Ceiling Fan.

  2. Excellent conservatory fan Product Rating

This is a really elegant fixture in our conservatory (replacing a tired cheap fan from a well-known competitor). The slick blades (gloss paint) maybe don't move the air as well as a "wicker" blade, hence one star down. Otherwise, it is exactly the right height and the light is appropriate - shame i broke the halogen bulb due to the stiffness of the bulb sockets, but I bought a replacement on Amazon.
